The mission of the GATES Senior High School is to graduate students with the skills necessary to successfully compete in a global economy.  By using the surrounding environment as a framework, students construct their own learning using proven educational practices.

The Global School of Arts, Technology and Environmental Sustainability (GATES) Senior High School will take the next step in moving students from test driven education to an innovative-driven education. Following in the footsteps of the highly successful model, Learning Gate Community School, GATES will implement a true project-based learning model for students in grades 6-12. An innovative driven school is led by innovative people who believe that an education that respects individual talents, supports divergent thinking, tolerates deviation and encourages creativity will produce an innovative society. Focus will be placed on critical thinking, initiative, problem solving, risk management, decision-making, and time management.
